A brand is not just a product...
a name and a logo.


A brand is the sum of its many parts. These parts include; design, color, textures, typeface, packaging, stationery, web site, brand environment, press releases and advertising messages. Every form of communication and brand experience says something about that brand.

In order to insure branding success each element or expression of a brand has to be carefully managed and be in sync with an overall game plan. Like anything else nothing should be left to chance because good brands don’t just happen by accident.

Brands require planning or a “brand strategy” which provides a blue print for their success. The brand strategy becomes the foundation for each creative solution (brand expression). It offers a standard by which to evaluate all things pertaining to the brand. It paves the way for a consistent unified brand message.

Today our media saturated landscape makes it challenging for brands to survive without such careful planning. Today’s savvy consumers are bombarded with many choices and thousands of brand messages per day. Brands have to work harder to cut through the clutter and be noticed.

Our proven process includes the following three steps.

1. DEFINE THE BRAND



Brand definition is like hiring a new employee. First you identify the job description and then you assess skills and personality best suited for the job.
What values, goals, and promises define your brand? Who is your target market? How can your brand become a vital part of your target market’s lifestyle? Which personality will best suit your brand?.


2. EXPRESS THE BRAND




Brand expressions are the creative interpretations of the brand.
How can your brand be best conveyed to the people you want to reach? Which creative solutions will make the most positive impressions with your target audience?


3. BRAND MAINTENANCE




How can we help your brand continue to perform at peak levels over the long haul? What adjustments need to be made to reflect changes in the marketplace?


NAMING AND LOGO DEVELOPMENT

Through our sixteen year history we’ve had the opportunity to create many successful brands. Often times our clients came to us with names and logos already in place. Sometimes we are fortunate to have the opportunity to begin with a clean slate and create the name and logo along with the entire identity package. The following presentation showcases our creative explorations and design process.

Many of the names already existed but all the logo design work is original.
Also included are samples of our logo exploration process showcasing how we investigate a range of solutions.
There are also samples of system design illustrating how we tackle brand relationships and the development of comprehensive design solutions.
